Lecturer, School of Communication & Media
Kennesaw, Ga.
I worked in nonprofit public relations for six years where I created campaigns, marketing plans and graphic design pieces for the following industries: healthcare, community outreach and higher education. Five years ago, I transitioned my career toward teaching so that I could share essential graphic design skills with the next generation of PR practitioners. I currently teach graphic communication and writing courses to public relations students in the School of Communication & Media at Kennesaw State University. My lectures include Magazine Media (PR 4605), Digital Publication Design (PR 4405), Public Relations Writing (PR 3375) and Writing for Public Communication (COM 2135). I also teach workshops on the basics of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop as well as "best practices" in terms of graphic design and building effective infographics.
